Baby Shower

We had our first baby shower today! It was so much fun! My girls are the best :) We got lots of goodies.
I can't wait to move so that we can set up the nursery! Time is going by fast but we still have a little ways to go. We're getting more and more excited about seeing our little one!
I'm so thankful to have such wonderful friends :)

I have a wonderful husband (twice)

This is me at 29 weeks. Josh came home with some beautiful flowers! I have such a sweet husband :)

Happy Birthday, Tony!

August 24th, our sweet baby boy Tony turned 1!!

We had a party for him with hats, balloons, other doggy friends, and dog cookies (as the cake).

He was so party pooped that he slept for the following 2 days!

I have a wonderful husband

There are really no words to express how thankful I am to have such a loving and dedicated husband.  On top of working really hard all year long to bring in our only source of income, Josh has been pretty much waiting on me hand and foot throughout this pregnancy.  He's rubbed my feet, massaged my back, fed me, gotten me water, kept up with house, been my little cheerleader while I'm doing pregnancy yoga in our living room, helped me with my exercises... I could go on and on. All without complaining.....well maybe a few times....but who the heck wouldn't.  Amazing man I tell ya!  I truly am so freakin' lucky! I wanted to do something to try and show my appreciation.

So I planned a day just for him.  It started with him getting a massage.  (side note: perfect timing because this was the week we started our birthing class and our homework every night was to give massages to our partners.)

Then I took him to a barbershop for a haircut and shave.

The place we went to, Floyd's 99 Barbershop, was really cool......and actually pretty inexpensive.
They have regular stylists there but at the West Village location they have barbers that can do the old fashioned neck shaves which I was really excited about.

The day ended with dinner at The Cheesecake Factory, Josh's favorite restaurant.  I had their Strawberry Shortcake (not much of a cheesecake person) and it was de.lic.ious!

RoughRiders

A couple of weeks ago we went to a Frisco RoughRiders baseball game! It's always a great time.

Our friend, Eric, works in the media department and always gets us really great seats that come with free food and drinks (no drinks this time for obvious reasons!).
Their games are way more entertaining than a Rangers game.

This time we were in the section where most of the action that goes on between innings and during warmups takes place.  We got to see all the dancing and the mascots (Cousins, Deuce and Daisy) doing their thing. They were so funny!

Can't wait until we go again!
