Potty Update!

As soon as CeCe woke up today, we took her diaper off and put panties on. She went tee tee and poo poo on the potty all day!

We even went out to the store with no diaper. I made sure she went potty a couple of times before we left and as soon as we got there, we went straight to the potty. She didn't end up having to go but I was nervous that we'd be in the line checking out or something and she'd have to go.

We bought some brand new Big Girl panties...

and our first bag of Pull-Ups! Of course she wanted to get the 'Boys' Toy Story bag!

She napped in a Pull-Up and it was definitely wet when she woke up, even though she went potty before she got in bed. She was back in panties the rest of the day and I'm proud to say that she had NO ACCIDENTS!!

I would ask her throughout the day if she needed to go but most of the time she'd say no and then go on her own a little later. Now granted, her motivation is to get the candy that comes after each potty. But that's the way it's supposed to be at the beginning right?!?

We're gonna keep it up tomorrow and if all goes well, we'll try it at school next week. We might be out of diapers very soon! So proud of our BIG girl :)

Easter 2011

April 16 marked the first day of our Easter activities. Since we decided to go out to East Tx to stay with Josh's aunt and uncle on Easter weekend, we weren't going to make it to the McKinney Eggstravaganza like last year. So we decided to go to the Rowlett's Eggstraordinary Egg Hunt. It was fun but no where near as eventful as Mckinney's.

Next, was CeCe's Easter Egg Hunt at school!

We had Good Friday off from school, so we decided to leave for E. Tx. Thursday night. Friday, we woke up and Bonnie and I went to the nail salon, while Eddie and Josh took the girls to the Athens Fishery.

That night, we went to Athens for dinner, and while Josh and Eddie went to the movies, Bonnie took the girls and I shopping. We got lots of summer clothes for the girls and CeCe's new favorite shoes...Toy Story tennis shoes that light up.

Saturday, we ate at Edom Bakery for breakfast. Then we went on a boat ride. This was Vivi's first time!

We had planned on going to an egg hunt but CeCe started to run fever and wasn't feeling well. So we decided to nap and take it easy the rest of the afternoon.

After dinner, CeCe rode in the convertible back home. The perks of living in the country!!

Easter Sunday, CeCe woke up and starting hunting for eggs. The Easter Bunny was wonderful to us this year!

Easter Bunny put money in all of the eggs!

We'll be sure to remember this conversation!

Then it was time to open up all of the goodies!

Vivi was ready to go too!

Before heading back home, we went back to Athens to Tilo's for Easter brunch. They had tons of delicious food to choose from. We were stuffed!

It was a great weekend! Thanks so much to Bonnie and Eddie for treating us. We can't thank y'all enough for everything you do for us.
