On January 13, Vivienne turned 4 months. She is such a joy to be around. She can be very chatty at times, well mostly squeaky, but she is also very much an observer. She will break her neck to follow her daddy around the room to see what he's up to. And as much as CeCe is all over the place, Vivi stays pretty busy!
About a week or so ago, we pushed her bedtime up to between 8 and 9. She still wakes up once around 11ish and again at 4ish, but that extra time in the evening is a blessing!I am still nursing/pumping so Vivi is still only taking breastmilk. I am counting down the days, well months (at this point) until I don't have to worry about pumping, but with me working this time around, I don't have much of a choice. Summer cannot get here fast enough.
We like to wait until 6 months before starting any cereal or oatmeal. With CeCe, we started just before she turned 6 months. So we have a little over a month left. I'm cherishing these last weeks of only breastfeeding because once the food starts, it gets harder and harder! I do look forward to making my own baby food again. I just hope she is a good eater.
Vivi hit a milestone this month (actually a few days before she turned 4 months). She started to roll over!! She can roll from her back to her tummy. There is no stopping her now.
Since then she has also started to scoot...backwards.
I have to look at CeCe's milestones but it seems like Vivi is on the same track, which means we could have another walker/climber in just 6 months. Eek!
Vivienne is also starting to sit up fairly well. We can't leave her alone yet but I can sit her up right in front of me without her falling down.
She loves playing with CeCe's piano and really any toy that makes noise. She is very hands on and loves to reach and grab for things.
She and CeCe are interacting so much more now too. Vivi is very much interested in everything CeCe does or toys she plays with. CeCe is pretty good about letting her play. If Vivi grabs for something though, CeCe will say "No, Vivienne" and "Don't touch Vivi." It's funny seeing them together. Vivi just adores CeCe and will laugh and laugh at her.
Height - 24 in (50%)

CeCe at 4 months:
Weight - 14lbs 8oz
Height - 24.5in

She's not quite up to where CeCe was at this age, but I'm trying not to compare. They're just different!
