That's right, class today consisted of me sitting in our comfy living room chair, wrapped up in a warm blanket, wearing my pajamas, and signed into an online chat! This is my prepracticum class that is designed to prepare us for our practicum/internship (one of which that is not required for my particular degree emphasis and therefore deemed unnecessary by me. But what do I know?). Instead of just deleting the class from our degree requirements, we (those of us that are going the teacher certification route) are required to complete alternate assignments geared toward the students we will eventually teach instead of toward ourselves. But, I digress.
For whatever reason, there are several dates that we don't have to be in class, only online to chat. Why can't class be like this all the time? Beside there being really no format, just about 30 of us talking (typing) at once and trying to keep up with it all by having to address the person we are directing our comment to each and every time and receiving a response 10 lines later, it was the best thing eva!
Can't wait until the next one [worthless] prepracticum class!
