San Diego - Day 3 - First Time at the Beach

We thought we'd get the girls out early so we headed over to Coronado to grab some breakfast and then hit the beach. We found this cute cafe down the street from the beach and ate outside on their 'patio.' It was such a gorgeous morning and perfect timing to head down to the water. We parked by some beach volleyball courts so it was a long trek down to the water but we made it. CeCe would not walk in the sand barefoot (once again) and wasn't so sure about the whole beach thing so she was a bit clingy. Her curiosity and need for adventure got the best of her though and she did want to get down and try it. She did really good, but was just very cautious. Reagan, on the other hand, was all about getting down and dirty. She was head to toe in sand and loved every minute of it. We stayed until it was about time for the girls to get their naps and then headed home. CeCe slept pretty much the whole way back. She was worn out!

After naps, we got the girls changed, and thought we'd try again at the shopping thing. But this time Erin's friend, Tache, came along for the ride. We went to the nearby border mall. Tache helped with the girls and we were actually able to leave with some things.

Another great day in San Diego!
