After claiming Regional Championships for both boys and girls, it was time for State! Josh rode down to Round Rock with the team, while Dwayne, the girls, and I drove down Friday night. We stayed in Temple and then drove the rest of the way Saturday morning. The girls did great on the road, which was such a relief. We got to the park and met up with Josh just before the races started.

The girls raced pretty flawless and it was clear when it was over that they had won. The boys was a little more tense and we knew it was going to be close. We waited at the announcement board for the official word and was so extremely excited to see LOVEJOY in FIRST for BOTH BOYS AND GIRLS! Such a wonderful experience. I'm so proud of my wonderful husband, the other coaches and, of course, the team for bringing double championships home! Such an amazing accomplishment! Doesn't get any better than this!Here he is with the gold!

It was a fun 2010 XC season! A couple of weeks off, then on to track. Let's keep up the momentum team :)

What an amazing year for the four of you Allens. The A Team is so appropriate. I can't even start to tell you how proud I am of you two for all you do and have and WILL accomplishment. Love to just watch and see what happens!
