April 16 marked the first day of our Easter activities. Since we decided to go out to East Tx to stay with Josh's aunt and uncle on Easter weekend, we weren't going to make it to the McKinney Eggstravaganza like last year. So we decided to go to the Rowlett's Eggstraordinary Egg Hunt. It was fun but no where near as eventful as Mckinney's.
Next, was CeCe's Easter Egg Hunt at school!
We had Good Friday off from school, so we decided to leave for E. Tx. Thursday night. Friday, we woke up and Bonnie and I went to the nail salon, while Eddie and Josh took the girls to the Athens Fishery.
Saturday, we ate at Edom Bakery for breakfast. Then we went on a boat ride. This was Vivi's first time!
We had planned on going to an egg hunt but CeCe started to run fever and wasn't feeling well. So we decided to nap and take it easy the rest of the afternoon.
After dinner, CeCe rode in the convertible back home. The perks of living in the country!!
Easter Sunday, CeCe woke up and starting hunting for eggs. The Easter Bunny was wonderful to us this year!
We'll be sure to remember this conversation!
Then it was time to open up all of the goodies!
Vivi was ready to go too!
Before heading back home, we went back to Athens to Tilo's for Easter brunch. They had tons of delicious food to choose from. We were stuffed!
