CeCe

Warning ~ This is a long, picture and video filled post, but if you stick around I can promise lots of cuteness!

These are all pictures from May, but remember, I'm in catch up mode still ;)

CeCe still loves to read her books. We read books to/with her before nap, at bed time, and often during play time too. She passes her time in the car by reading books. And when she is in a mood, books are her escape. She will go into her room and just sit and read for as long as she needs. When she "reads" with us, she has just memorized the words from reading the same books over and over, so she can say the words out loud with us. But now she is starting to be more interested in wanting to recognize words and know what they actually say.

Here she is reading a book to Vivi :)

This day, she decided to get all of the books out of the cabinet and make piles. She is also working on mastering her organization skills!

Reading Big Bird's Big Book

Looking and showing me that "Cat in the Hat" is on the spine of the book.

And here we are reading The Tooth Book.

This is a book about angels cleaning the stars to make them shiny. I can't remember the name off of the top of my head. But all throughout the book, there are night skies and stars. So we either sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, or CeCe will say, "no, don't sing, talk" meaning read the actual book.

We found out from CeCe's teachers that she loved riding the bikes at school. And she apparently was the only one in her class that could pedal.

Here she is riding a bike at school when Josh went to pick her up one day.

So we decided to get a bike for her! Here she is riding her first big girl bike! I'm also happy to say that I got this for $7 at a resale shop!

From this post, you can see that CeCe loves to sing her songs. Well now, she has to get her "princess" dress on, stand on a stool (her stage), and sing. Here she is adding her own little touches to the tune of God Bless America and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. And you can also see how distracted she gets :)

We hear these songs AT LEAST once a day so I thought I would wear everyone else out by sharing them! Hope you enjoyed it :)
