So this isn't the entire reason why I remain in catch up mode but it does have a lot to do with it. About a month or so ago, our computer caught another virus. This has been somewhat of an ongoing thing but this time I wasn't able to find a way to fix it. After a couple of weeks of trying to get rid of the virus, we sought counsel from a computer wiz. Based on what it would cost to get ours fixed and upgraded, we just decided to get a new one.
We have toiled with the idea of converting to a Mac for a long time now, but could never really justify it since we had a working computer. But since that wasn't the case anymore, we went for it! To save money, we got a refurbished one, and I love it.
So now that we are back online, I do plan on catching up. But since we got it, my 'extra' time has been spent on 2 online classes I am taking this summer, which will be over this week.
There is still a lot I have to learn about this MacBook Pro, but I think I'm getting around ok. Although this is something we have been wanting to get for a while, I was a little nervous about the transition and getting to know all of the ins and outs.
CeCe and I came across Photo Booth and had fun playing with all of the effects. I laughed until I cried watching her watch herself on the screen. Here are some of the pics!
