Vivienne ~ 7, 8, 9, 10 months

Since we got Vivi's sleeping somewhat under control, things started to get much easier. In her 7th and 8th month, Vivi began to be more independent. I remember this time being a turning point from the newborn stages to the beginning of toddlerhood. We began to see a personality come out in Vivi. She is such a sweet girl, but has some stubbornness, like her momma.

7 months

8 months

First Cracker
yum!

At 9 months, Vivi was definitely not a baby anymore. We got the go ahead from the doctor to try whatever kind of foods we wanted, except for the known allergen foods. And Vivi loved it. She was ready to go and hasn't stopped since. There is nothing she won't eat. We got her a sippy cup and started giving her water. She figured it out and was drinking out of it the same day!

She can wave hi and bye bye!

I had to leave one day and Josh had my car with Vivi's seat. So I cheated and put her in CeCe's seat. She looks so tiny in it. But she did great and I think she liked looking around at everything! Don't worry, she's back in her car seat now.

She loves to dance and talk on the phone!

At 6 months, Vivi was pulling up. 7 months, she was cruising. 8 months, standing up without holding onto anything. And at 9 months, taking steps. It took all of her 9th month to get more comfortable with walking, but she slowing began to rely on that instead of crawling to get her places. She definitely keeps up with her sister!

Her walking at 9 1/2 months!

Vivi's 9th month stats are:

Weight: 16 lbs, 2 oz (10-25th percentile)
Height: 27 in (25-50th percentile)
Head: 43 3/4 cm (25-50th percentile)

And here we are at 10 months and we officially have a walker! She is such a busy body; into everything.

Everything still goes into her mouth and at this point it's more like a game to her. She'll spit whatever it is out when she sees us reaching for it.

She has a contagious smile, a big heart, and a feisty attitude. She is shy. She is strong willed. She is impatient. She is beautiful.

Vivi can repeat sounds, says Mama, Dada, and CeCe.

She's a climber, just like her sister!

She likes to cuddle and hold onto her babies and blankets.

Her top 4 teeth are coming in at the same time. So that makes a total of 6.

She is such a smiley, happy little girl.

Sister always likes to join in when I'm trying to take Vivi's monthly picture.

I can't believe in less than 2 months, she will be a ONE YEAR OLD! I'm excited to see what she's going to be like at CeCe's age. It seems so far away, but I know it will be here "faster than fast!" (Thomas the Tank Engine reference!)
